Boho gold assemblage bracelet | upcycled charm bracelet, gold and silver, multi-stranded bracelet

$56.29

A rustic boho assemblage bracelet using salvaged and ethnic elements.

The foundation for this piece is one half of a vintage double gold toned base metal mesh-chain bracelet. In between the two wide chains of the original bracelet, I've added a chain of rosary wrapped Ethiopian silver alloy beads. A collection of gold and silver ethinic (African, Moroccan) beads and a little kuchi element dangle as charms and give an extra chunkiness!

Around 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) end to end. Closing with a hand forged brass hook which links to the clasp of the salvaged bracelet.

My work is purposefully rustic reflecting my love for this aesthetic. Solder joins, hammer strikes and stitches are often visible on the finished piece. For me, these are beautiful because they reflect the journey a piece has taken with me.

I frequently use salvaged and recycled elements - not only do these have a story of their own to tell, it also reduces my environmental impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wow, Australia is a long way from me. How long will it take for my item to get here?

On average, I find shipping to most places in the world takes a couple of weeks. It can, on occasion, take longer. I ship most non-domestic items with tracking so you can keep an eye on your item as it wings its way to you.

How do you ship your items?

All my items are wrapped and ready for gifting. I ship most international items with tracking (some smaller items like earrings, and textile cuffs may not have tracking as it makes them unreasonably expensive).

Can I return my purchase for a refund?

Of course. What's the point of jewelry you aren't going to wear! Shopping online is convenient, but sometimes you need to see a thing up-close and and in-person to know how you really feel about it. If you'd like to return your item, just let me know within 14 days of delivery.

What's your aesthetic and your pricing philsophy?

My work is organic and purposefully rustic. My pieces take a journey with me as I create them and this aesthetic celebrates the signposts that mark this journey - surface stitches, tool marks, texture and patina are beautiful.

I use found and salvaged objects a lot in my work. These tell a story and reflect my commitment to sustainability.

Pricing is one of the hardest things for an artist. I try to keep my prices accessible, whilst reflecting the time and materials that have gone into creating my pieces.

Custom and personalized orders

My process is very organic and personal so, the short answer is no, I don't generally take custom orders. However, please feel free to reach out to me if you have something in mind. I've worked with several of my regular customers to create a piece that uses a material or object that holds a special meaning for them.
